We would like to express a massive thank you to all of our wonderful supporters who were involved with our Walk-4-Rescue on Sunday 4^th September. It was great to welcome you back to our Wingletang Centre in Devon for an energising 4.5 mile walk around the beautiful countryside.

We are absolutely trilled to share that we have raised £1,312.50 so far, with more due to come in the following months! 

Unfortunately, the weather was typical for the British Summertime and a little unpredictable, but that didn’t stop our brave walkers and their four-legged friends. In the end, we all managed to miss the inevitable pourdown which we were very grateful for.

After the trek, our walkers were greeted with delicious homemade tea and scones, along with some yummy treats for our furry friends too. With supporters from Devon, Cornwall and further afield joining us, the debate as to whether the jam or cream goes on first continued long into the afternoon!

We would like to say a special thanks to Dianne Giles for taking some amazing photos of the event, and a big thank you to Wayne and Karen, who were our back up drivers during the walk.

The local Peter Tavy Inn once again showed their incredible support, by welcoming our supporters into their cosy pub and donating 20% of their takings to us from bookings on the day.

We are very grateful to all those who supported the event and helped us to raise funds for the rescue animals in our care. Every time we organise these events, we are constantly blown away by the amount of dedication and generosity we receive.
