It was an honour to welcome our amazing volunteers to our Church Knowle centre in Dorset on Wednesday 26th June for our annual Volunteer Appreciation Event.

 

 

We couldn't have picked a better day, as the sun was shining bright and a delicious selection of sandwiches, cakes, sweet treats & drinks were on offer, as a small gesture of our gratitude for all our volunteers' continued support. 

Set out in & around our wonderful cabin at the centre, we were surrounded by the beautiful Dorset countryside and gave our volunteers the opportunity to enjoy a tour of the site, where they could meet some of the rescue animals that directly benefit from their dedication towards our charity. 

 

 

We were also delighted to present our Volunteer of the Year awards, which provide a fabulous way for us to celebrate those who go above & beyond for MGAR.

An award was also presented to all of the fantastic volunteers in our Wareham shop, who have helped us to get involved in the local community and keep the store going, since its opening in December.

We really could not continue the vital work we do with our rescue animals, without the support of our incredible volunteers, who never fail to amaze us with their passion, commitment and hard work.
