Sprightly Springer Spaniel cross, Marty, bounded into our lives when he arrived into our care last summer at just 1 year of age.

From spending time with this clever boy at our Wingletang centre, it was clear that he would thrive in a forever home that would be able to match his high energy and put his working drive to good use.

We could see his potential to use these incredible skills to make a real difference, so we contacted Devon & Cornwall Police Dog Section who came out to meet Marty and assess his suitability for a career in the Police force. 

After 6 months of training and working with the team, we are absolutely thrilled that Marty has successfully completed this assessments and is now a fully-fledged Search Dog for Devon & Cornwall Police! 

We are so proud of Marty for all his hard work, and we're so grateful to the team at the Police for giving him the opportunity to show his talents and use his 'pawsome' skills to help protect our communities.

We wish Marty all the very best with his career, and we can't wait to hear about he gets on in his super new role.
