Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our Sponsored Walk on Sunday 2^nd April! The team were delighted to welcome all new and familiar faces to our Wingletang centre, and to see many of your lovely four-legged friends, including those who had previously been rehomed from Margaret Green Animal Rescue.

 

 

After a few miserable days of wind and rain, we were thrilled to be greeted with blue skies and beautiful sunshine, which made it the perfect weather for setting off on a 6 mile route through the Devon countryside and moors.

After the trek through the country lanes and rolling hills, everyone was greeted back at the centre for some well-deserved tea and delicious homemade cakes, as well as a tasty treat for our furry friends who had done so well in completing the walk.

We were astounded by the number of attendees and dogs that came out to support us and helped us to raise an incredible £2,146, with more funds to be added in the upcoming months!

 

      

 

We can’t thank all our supporters enough for making this possible, and we would like to say a special thank you to volunteers, Wayne and Karen, who were our back-up drivers for the day and made sure that everyone had plenty of water (and poo bags!) to keep themselves going throughout the walk.
