Wonderful Wilson is a six year old, male Cockerpoo who is eagerly awaiting his forever home. As he came in from a home where he was very loved, we can tell his new owners all about this exuberant chap. He can’t wait to meet you!
Whilst getting to know Wilson, we have seen what a smart cookie he is! He knows his basic commands, as well as some fun party tricks, such as ‘roll over’ and ‘paw’! Happiest when with people, his carers have discovered that Wilson isn’t used to spending much time on his own. He attaches himself to people very quickly, so for this reason, we are hoping to find a family that would be around for most of the day initially whilst he continues to practice some independence. The team would be more than happy to discuss some training tips to assist with this.
Wilson is an energetic lad who would appreciate an active home where he could be kept busy going on adventures and exploring the outdoors. We have found as well as being a massive foodie, the way to this boy’s heart is a tennis ball! Both of these would be a massive reward to this handsome lad when it comes to his training sessions.
You can also see that Wilson has a lovely curly coat, which will need to be maintained by regular brushing and grooming sessions.
Wilson has met some of our resident dogs on site and whilst he is happy to say hello, he is also quite content keeping himself to himself and can prefer his own space. Having said this, we feel Wilson would be comfortable living with calm, female dog, but unfortunately he wouldn’t be able to live with cats. The team think Wilson would suit a family with teenage children and upwards.
Please get in touch if you would be interested in hearing more about Wilson and our rehoming process.
