Look at this gorgeous face! How can you resist the charms of sweet Arthur the Springador? At 10-years-old, Arthur is looking for his forever home where he can strike the perfect balance between snuggles, plenty of walks and snoozing.
Arthur came into our care with his brother Bentley, although we will be happy rehoming them together, equally we feel like they can go separately to new homes if needed as long as they have companionship and not left on their own for long periods.
Since Arthur came into us from a home where he was well loved, we are able to tell his new owners all about his likes and dislikes.

When Arthur first came to us, he was quite timid, and it took a little while to coax him out of his shell. Once he trusts you, he greets you with that heartwarming wagging tail and grinning face. Despite being an older gentleman, Arthur is still incredibly active and is definitely seeking a home that will take him on walks galore; he just also happens to be at the age where he can appreciate being conked out asleep in a warm cosy bed! Similarly, he frequently seeks out affection once he is comfortable with you. Arthur also has proven himself to be the perfect mix of Spaniel and Labrador, enjoying walking with his nose to the ground and exploring the world through his senses. The team have also observed that Arthur has brilliant recall. Although, Arthur can sometimes be a little over-enthusiastic on his walks, so we are working on loose lead manners, with which we would love for his new owners to continue.

Due to his initial nervousness upon meeting with people, we feel Arthur would thrive in an adult only home. Arthur is quite happy in his own world, so would be happiest in a home in which he is the only pet.
