Bonny by name, bouncy by nature. This beaming boy has hung up his racing paws and is looking for a cosy retirement home where he can snuggle up on a sofa to his hearts content now that he is at the good age of 6 years 5 months.

Since his arrival with us we’ve noticed he loves nothing more than to share a sofa with his favourite carers and he equally enjoys having some cuddles once he has gotten to know you.

He has made a few doggy friends here and is quite happy to do some gentle slow laps around the fields with other dogs for company, therefore we believe he would be happy to share is home with a female Greyhound who also enjoys this slower way of life.

We also think Bonny Boy would be happy to live in a home with children that are 10 years and upwards, but being an ex-racer we would like to find him a home without cats or other small animals.

He has definitely let us know that he is quite the foodie with a penchant for food, as he very much likes the finer foods in life, and is partial to a bit of smelly pate now and again. He loves using his nose to sniff out treats and to give us his approval afterwards.

Bonny Boy’s ideal home would be with a family who will enjoy taking him out on leisurely strolls whilst giving him an opportunity every now and then for zoomies either in their own garden or in an enclosed paddock – there are lots of these locally now that you can hire out!
