Introducing the wonderful Benji who is a 6 1/2 year old Springer Spaniel. Benji arrived with us due to his previous owner sadly passing away. Benji has taken time to adjust to losing his owner and we feel he would benefit having someone around for most of the day to help him settle into his new home.

Now that Benji has become more familiar with his surroundings here at the centre, he has become more lively and loves to bounce around showing you what fun his toys can be. Benji therefore needs new owners who are understanding of his sensitive side, but are also able to meet his needs once he settles into the home and gets more of a spring in his step.

Benji is a social lad who enjoys running around the field and going out on his daily walks with his four legged friends, however he does prefer to explore where his nose takes him when out, so we feel he would be happiest either being the only pet or possibly having a calm, older female who would like a companion rather than a playmate.

Benji could live with teenagers and adults, who enjoy getting out and about, exploring the countryside, so that he can put his nose to good work, picking up all the smells and scents around.

We feel Benji's new owners will need to be happy to give Benji the time and patience that he needs to settle in as he has been through a lot already and is looking forward to having a loving, kind home.
