*Poppet is looking for a foster or her fur-ever home*
If you are looking for a fun loving canine to join you on your many outdoor adventures, we may have the right dog for you! Poppet is a 1-year-old female Terrier who is raring to go and can’t wait to meet her new hiking companion.

This little lass has oodles of energy and loves nothing more than putting her brain to work. One way to get her terrier instincts working is a fun session of scent work, she is doing very well at this and will happily snuffle out any treats that we have quietly hidden around the longer grass in our paddocks. We would love her family to carry on with this, as it’s a calm but enjoyable game that Poppet gets a lot of enrichment out of.

Poppet was signed over in to our care from a loving home and we have been told that she relishes being around other dogs when out on her walkies, which has also become apparent here at Lincoln Farm. So we are looking for a home that already has a well-established, confident, larger male dog that is a little older who can keep her company and also help to keep her on track with her manners. In typical terrier fashion Poppet can be vocal and sometimes a tad grabby, so the family pooch must be ok with this.

Initially Poppet can be a little worried when meeting new people, but the excitement quickly takes over and she can’t wait for lots of affection on your lap or to have an exciting game of catch as you are quickly moving her favourite toys in front of her.

Due to her terrier nature and her excitement sometimes taking over we are looking for an adult only home with no cats or any small furry animals.
