Say hello to our gorgeous black and white bulldog, Hector. This lovely boy is 7 ½ years old and weighs 23kg. He came into us as a stray so unfortunately, we don’t know much about his past, but we’ve all really enjoyed getting to know his fun and affectionate character.

Hector loves everyone. His little tail will start wagging as soon as he sees anyone who might stop to give him a cuddle. There’s nothing he loves more than a good scratch on the back. Due to his loving nature, he’s suitable for living with children aged 5+ years.

He’s also friendly with his canine companions. When off-lead with other dogs he loves a little chase around, although he gets out of breath pretty quick! We feel he could live happily with a female dog. He could also live with a confident, dog-savvy cat.

While he enjoys plodding around with friends, he does have a tendency to plonk himself down and hope for cuddles rather than finishing his walk, so he’ll need a patient owner to encourage him to keep moving.

Sadly, for such a positive chap, Hector does have quite a long medical history. We’re looking for a home that will be comfortable giving frequent medication and taking regular trips to the vets. Our team will discuss these medical requirements with any interested homes.
