Everyone orbit around and let me introduce you to this stunningly unique and cheeky chap Pluto, he is a 3 year old Husky x Shepherd.

Pluto came into our care as an unclaimed stray, so we have limited information on his past experiences but from what we have seen he seems to have spent more time outside as he can initially struggle being in an indoor environment. The team here have spent their days helping him learn how to settle on our sofas/dog beds and has also that he can still enjoy play time with his toys whilst indoors with human company. We have found that he loves his activity toys and that these have really helped him relax his mind, so it would be really great if his family would enrich his life with fun activities throughout the day that would help wear out his brain as well as his body.

Although Pluto has started showing progress with spending time indoors with his companions, he can try and put on a famous magic show and turns into a Houdini/ décor enthusiast when left, so we are looking for a family that would be able to stay home with him initially and teach him that he is safe when home alone.

We have found that Pluto can be quite aloof with strangers initially and much prefers taking in all the sights and smells rather than enjoying their company, but once he gets to know you (which doesn't take long), he is the most loyal and affectionate clown going.

The team have all fallen head over heals with this goof ball and feel he would make an amazing hiking buddy and partner in crime, with a lot of patience, perseverance and understanding at the beginning, Pluto will turn into the most amazing boy!

We are looking for an adult only home with no cats or small furries but would be happy to introduce him to a confident and settled resident dog, your current 4-legged family member may even be able to help teach Pluto some much needed household etiquette.
