Rex The Brave - Fantastic News!
8th Jan 20208th January 2020
Wow! - your support for Rex was amazing, with over £2,500 being donated for Rex to have his much needed surgery and important aftercare.
As you will remember Rex, a 4 year old Terrier arrived at our Wingletang Rescue and Rehoming Centre with suspected chemical or acid burns, which had left him with no eyelids and a badly damaged and infected ear and we are delighted to let you know that Rex was able to have his operation. Thanks to your generosity we were able to give Rex the surgery to have the damaged ear canal removed quickly, as we were aware he must have been in pain. The operation, very complex and costly, was successful and Rex certainly lived up to his name of being brave throughout and not showing any signs of distress.
The best news for Rex is that he has found his forever family with and is already settling into their home. Now that Rex is with his family he can continue on his road to recovery in a environment, which will be better for him, enhance his recovery and we just know he'll be happy.
We are so pleased to be able to update you on Rex’s progress with this fantastic outcome.
Thank you everyone!
