Jack
Name: Jack
Breed: German Shepherd X
Age: 0
Location: Devon
Gender: Male
MGAR Reference: 55091
Handsome Jack here is a GSD X, who is only 6 months old. Jack arrived with us due to his owner not being able to give him the daily exercise he so needs.
Jack is a real people boy and bonds quickly to his owners, which means he struggles when being left and being a puppy he can become destructive with it, so he will be looking for a family where there is always someone at home, and with time and patience, being left for short periods will be able to be worked on, but equally his family will need to understand that he may just always want someone around.
Jack loves his cuddles, but he will also need a family that like getting out and about, as when he is fully grown, he will need an active lifestyle to help keep him mentally and physically stimulated.
Due to Jack's excitable nature his best match would be with a family that have children over 10 that are used to large bouncy dogs. Jack has lived with another dog previously and was very fond of her, so we feel having another steady dog in the home would be beneficial for him.
Jack will be happiest with owners that are used to similar breeds of dogs to help guide him with his training as he will need to continue the training started here at the centre, so training classes will be really important for him.
If you have the time to dedicate to this lovely lad and help shape him into a well adjusted adult dog, then we would love to hear from you.
