Say hello to the big and beautiful snow bear, Bradley...a 3-year-old chunk of divine deliciousness, who has the sweetest personality. Since plodding through our door, we have discovered that our sweet BBB (‘Big Boy Bradley’) is completely deaf. We have been making fantastic use of his love for grub, and teaching him hand signals with reward-based, positive training methods…and it’s safe to say that he deserves an ‘A*’ for his achievements so far!
For this reason, Bradley would love to meet understanding and kind owners who are comfortable that his training may take that bit longer, and will see this as a truly amazing ‘op-paw-tunity’ to have some fun and learn together. Training in this way will also build a hugely special bond, making you trusted besties for life. We would be delighted to show Bradley’s new guardians how we have been working with him, and share top tips so he can continue to thrive in his new home.
Bradley really enjoys dashing around our enclosed spaces at the rehoming centre, and will certainly love his new family to both walk with him on his lead, and to give him access to a secure doggy exercise areas, to keep him safe whilst enjoying his wonderful, enriching off-lead experiences.
Bradley absolutely adores his cuddles…so much so, that he can sometimes confuse his enthusiasm for love and snuggles and his size, and forgets to keep his four paws on the floor! Bradley gets super, duper excited to go out on his daily walks and this excitement can show itself as being a bit strong on his lead, so his ideal new ‘fur-mily’ would also continue to show teach him some doggy walking etiquette, to help him be the best version of himself.
One of Bradley's favourite things, ever, is to play with his pooch pals! He would love to meet some regular walking companions, who he could share the good times with. Even with his sociable, happy-go-lucky ways, we feel he would be at his happiest being the only pet in his nice new home, so that he can soak up all the attention for himself (just as he deserves!).
As Bradley is such a friendly lad, we feel he would be content to share his space with teenagers, who are used to larger dogs with enthusiastic and exuberant ways. Due to Bradley’s fondness of people, we know he would really appreciate having someone around for most of the day as, at the moment, he does get worried when left alone – quite understandable when you have experienced life as a stray, with nobody to turn to. Having a trusted friend and human bestie close by will enable him to settle into family life, and may ease these anxieties for this scrumptiously handsome chunk of love.
If BBB sounds like your 'paw-fect' match, you are possibly just one telephone call or email away from bringing home this giant hunk of gorgeousness!
