Rocky is a 14hh grey cob gelding who is 12 years old, he came into our care as his previous owner was no longer able to care for him.
Rocky is looking for a calm, confident home where he can build trust and true friendship with his new owner. It took a while for us to earn his trust when he first arrived but now he enjoys a good groom, he is easy to clip and good with the vet and farrier.
Rocky enjoys a nice hack which we have done through the village and surrounding areas and he has been happy to do this solo. To give him variety we also lunge and long rein him.
He is great fun to work with from the ground, he is a very clever horse and is quick to learn new skills. We think it would be great if he could continue with this in his new home.
He has lived in a herd with mares and geldings whilst he has been in our care and is a great companion.
