Handsome Max here is a 5 year old Husky x who arrived with us due to his owner having to move into non pet accommodation.
Max enjoys the quiet life, but he is still an active lad and has previously been a running partner, so he is looking for a new home with a similar lifestyle to what he has been used too.
Max is looking to be the only pet in the home so that he can have all the attention for himself. Max has not lived with children before, so we feel he would be happiest in a home with older teens and adults where he can relax.
Max can get excited at times and sometimes forgets his manners by jumping up to say hello, he can also be strong on lead which we have been working on, so we feel he would benefit attending training classes to help with this and also help build a bond with his new owner.
Max has been working on his doggy etiquette when meeting dogs on lead as he can be unsure at times, but he soon makes friends and has a few doggy friends that he is happy to run around the field with.
Max can struggle being left so will need owners around for most of the day to help build up time being left gradually. Max will also need to be kept on lead or have access to a secure field so that he can run around safely, as he can get cheeky off lead and will try to run off.
